Dr. Bina Roy Memorial Research Fellowship,IFUWA
Purpose:
To provide a Fellowship for doctoral and post doctoral studies and research being carried on in any of the Indian Universities.
Fields:
Science, Technology and Humanities
Value: Rs. 36,000/-
Eligibility:
a) Open to post graduates carrying on doctoral or post doctoral research in any of the Indian Universities.
b) The candidate must be member of the University Women's Associations of IFUWA. Direct members of IFUWA are also eligible to apply.
Conditions:
a) Restricted to doctoral or post doctoral Research.
b) Stipend to be paid in three parts; one, - third at the commencement of the fellowship and one third after six months only after submission of a progress report by the research guide.
c) the final installment will be paid after the submission of the thesis at the university. Scholarship tenable upto 2 to 3 years (Completion of Project for Post doctoral/or thesis for doctoral degree.)

Amy Rustomjee International Scholarship, WGU Mumbai
Number: one per year.
Purpose : Scholarship for advanced research
Eligibility: Open to women with post-graduate degrees and proof of ability to carry out research in Mumbai, India. Recipient is provided free accommodation and partially free board in the Women Graduates Union's hostel for working women. In addition a small cash stipend is provided. The award does not cover travel or any other incidental expenses.

Sarojini Naidu Memorial Scholarship, UWA Delhi
Purpose: Scholarship for post-graduate study or research in Delhi, to encourage foreign scholars to undertake a course of study on Indian culture and women's development. The aim of SNMS is to foster global understanding.
Eligibility: Women graduates of recognized foreign universities, who have obtained admission to study or research at the post-graduate level in the University of Delhi , Jamia Millia Islamia University or Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi, India. An applicant must be a member of a National Federation or Association, or an independent member, of the IFUW.
Course: Any course or discipline bearing a special reference to India and Women's studies.
Application deadline: December 31, 2007 (and every third year thereafter, that is, 2010, and so on).

Scholarship Amount: Rs. 30,000/-
To be granted only on receiving proof of admission to University of Delhi , Jamia Millia Islamia University or Jawaharlal Nehru University, for study or research work at the post-graduate level.
Payable in 3 instalments:
1st instalment on joining the course in July 2008
2nd instalment after receiving 1st semester Report from the concerned Department of the University,
3rd instalment before the Final Examination, or completion of Research Project and submission of Thesis.
